The Patrick Gazard Trio
Led by well - known bandleader and former local Head of Music Patrick Gazard on the keyboard, these musicians are hugely talented and experienced and add a whole new dimension to the performance quality of the group.
Patrick is the Director of the acclaimed High Wycombe Music Centre Big Band, and is a successful freelance composer and arranger in his own right. Also an accomplished drummer and vocalist, Patrick's first love is the piano and lends the group his great talents of improvisation and arrangement.
Ed Blake, our drummer, works with Patrick's Big Band as one of the leading members. His impeccable rhythm an wide knowledge of jazz means that no song is beyond him!
On bass we employ the great talents of Tom Coppins, also a trombonist with top Reading Big Band 'Pendulum'. He loves the challenge of playing in a variety of styles, often at sight, and it is rare to find anything that defeats him.
